Who we are
Editions SSA is the publishing arm of Solid State Authentics Limited, a VAT registered company incorporated in England and Wales; Company No. 6493083, VAT Registration No. 985817264. Our website address is: https://www.editions-ssa.com.
Personal data we collect, and why we collect it:
We retain customer information as a means of maintaining the integrity of the editions we publish. Customer’s names, email addresses, postal addresses plus any instructions, additional contact or banking information submitted via our transaction partners* at the time of purchase are retained indefinitely, as agreed by the customer by the acceptance of the Editions SSA Terms and Conditions. This information will not be disclosed to any third party – unless we are obliged to release such information to our legal representatives, or the authorities, in order to initiate investigation or legal action in the case of copyright infringement, or fraudulent acquisition of goods (for example). All such data is stored in a GDPR-compliant environment.
*As an additional layer of protection for both customers and our business, Editions SSA trades online solely via PayPal Inc. at present. PayPal’s Privacy Statement can be read here, and their Terms and Conditions here. Should this situation change at any point in the future, such changes will be notified here and in the Edition SSA Terms and Conditions.
Contact form data
Visitor submitted information (excepting Customer Data – see above, and the Editions SSA Terms & Conditions), as entered on our contact form(s), is retained indefinitely, or until we receive a written request from the registrant for its removal. This information is stored in a GDPR-compliant environment and is not shared with any third party. Should we at any time in the future elect to outsource electronic marketing services (for example), existing registrants will be contacted using the information we hold and given the opportunity to opt-out prior to any such action.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to aid spam detection.
If visitors upload images to this website, they should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
