Announcing POP-ARTJukebox – a thoroughly modern art-print concept
What It Is
No, not “just another print,” but an innovative, on-line ‘jukebox’ to create your own, bespoke, Pop-Art piece from a wide selection of elements. Each element set is made up of entirely original Alleyne artworks, and combine to create a unique, personalised, still-life print for the home or workplace, for you – or a friend.
Variations based on Dieter Rams‘ ground-breaking TP1 disc player/transistor radio designed for Braun in 1959, in response to the post-war desire for a ‘ready-to-go’ lifestyle – and the trend towards miniaturisation driven by the space race. Now acknowledged as a classic of modern product design, and the style-ancestor of Apple‘s current consumer product line, these are faithful renderings reproduced at real-world scale.
Originally introduced in 1949 to replace the fragile (and expensive) shellac discs that preceded them, these 7″ vinyl discs come in regulation black, gold and platinum, clear vinyl and a selection of colours that reflect the novelty and inventiveness of the New Pop Culture.
Hundreds of iconic record labels, spanning rock’n’roll, pop, glam, reggae, punk and post-punk – with more genres and many more labels to come . . .
A selection of twenty-plus pastels, mid-tones and deeper hues to complement your selection of elements – and your home or workplace decor.
The prints measure approximately 420x300mm on brilliant white archival matt stock, carry a unique print number, and are individually printed and hand-finished by the artist.
Available NOW exclusively from Editions SSA at a special introductory price of just £25.00 + P&P with free, world-wide shipping on orders of three or more prints.
